Bebel is a brilliant 15-year-old wheelchair-user girl who lives with her mother and grandfather on the banks of a highway in the countryside and moves to a bigger city to continue studying.

Bebel faces all the adversities of the new world, starting with her aunt, but becomes a school leader who ends up bothering some of her classmates and a powerful enemy, the city’s tycoon businessman whose business has nothing to do with sustainability, a cosmetics testing lab that uses dogs for testing. At the same time, Bebel fights against the excess waste produced at school and invents a biodigester to transform organic waste into energy. Bebel’s inspiration is Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg. For Bebel, changing habits and behaviors is her goal, and sustainability is her guiding principle.
