DRIVE ME HOME

★★★★ A gem of a film, and a great showcase of acting prowess ★★★★
Close childhood friends Antonio and Agostino grew up together in rural Sicily, desperate to escape life in their small village and discovering the world.
Now in their 30s they both live abroad but haven’t seen each other in years. When Antonio one day learns that his family house, since long abandoned, is about to be sold, he embarks on a journey to find his old friend and travel back to Sicily to reclaim it.
However, with their relation forever changed, old conflicts and new revelations are threatening to put a dramatic end to their road trip across Europe. A generational story about finding a place called home, wherever you are.
With Marco D’Amore (Gomorrah) and Vinicio Marchioni (Criminal Novel), Drive me home is a powerful drama directed by Simone Catania.
