Fourteen-year-old Canadian Tobi spends an unwelcome summer in a small Slovenian town, far from his father and friends. Struggling with prejudice from local boys, he unexpectedly finds a friend in free-spirited Tjasa, who introduces him to Herman, a blind astronomer. As Tobi learns the mysteries of the universe through Herman’s guidance, he and his mother Kristina are drawn into a journey of discovery, courage, and the unexpected paths life has in store.
